A Perfect Day

A Perfect Day by Lukas Herzog   It was a fantastic morning, and the sun was shining brightly in the sky, casting a warm feeling of nirvana over all of the town’s optimistic denizens. In a charming little blue house lived a wonderful and caring young girl named Betty. Betty laid in her bed, enjoying the smell of bacon sizzling on the stovetop downstairs. With a feeling of confidence and fervor, she put on her favorite pair of blue slippers and stepped down the stairs. “Good morning sweetie,” her mom. “I made you your favorite meal.” “Thank you so much, Mom” replied Betty as she sat down and began to eat. The bacon tasted perfect and it had a pleasant crispy texture. Betty smiled. “Today’s Saturday, so I thought it would be a perfect time to go to the beach!” remarked Betty’s dad. “Awesome,” said Betty. “Can my friends come with me?” “Absolutely!” said her Dad. …      About 4 hours later Betty and her parents returned home...

  If you are wondering why my blog's URL is greenknightpyn , then I will explain. It started a few years ago when I was writing a story on my own. I wanted to create a fantasy story, but I could come up with a character or a plot. After about an hour of thought, I decided that the protagonist of my story would be a small green knight named Pyn that lives in a forest. I don't quite know why the idea stuck with me, but Pyn continues to be a source of inspiration.
